About

Christopher Pucinischi is a psychologist with experience in private practice and pain management settings (TAC and WorkSafe). In these contexts, he has worked with adults from various cultural backgrounds and at different stages in life.

Christopher strives to provide a safe and non-judgement space which invites openness and curiosity to explore the underlying reasons contributing to a person’s current problems or distress.

Understanding that every person seeking therapy is different, Christopher collaborates with his clients to develop individualised evidence-based treatment plans to help them achieve the goals they set in therapy.

Christopher works with a wide-range of presentations, however he is most passionate working with people with work/academic stress, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

Specific treatments offered include:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Eye-movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

When Christopher is not working, he enjoys playing video games with his wife, reading stories with his son, walking his dog, and engaging in fiction and non-fiction writing.
